Vanilla sugar is pure cane sugar that has been scented with crushed Vanilla beans (5%).  It is generally used in baking to add Vanilla flavouring to cakes and cookies,whipped cream and custards or can be used to sprinkle over fresh or cooked fruits.  It can even be used to sweeten hot or cold drinks and, in particular coffee.
