Trade 1 x Vanilla Bourbon Pods

Bourbon vanilla is the name given to all vanilla grown in Madagascar.  Vanilla pods which are the black fruit of the climbing orchid are known for its floral and fruity flavours.  To release all the flavour, simply slice a pod in half lengthwise, scrape out the insides and add the tiny seeds to desserts and ice cream.  Alternatively, use a whole pod to infuse milk, cream or custard with a subtle vanilla flavour or add them to a jar of sugar to make vanilla-scented sugar.
