Timut Berries

This rare berry from Nepal is the brother of the Sichuan pepper.  It has an intense aroma of tangerine and lemon and its floral, gently spicy flavour can be enjoyed in sweet or savoury dishes.  Timut berries are perfect with scallops, all fish and shellfish and chicken.  Its delicate citrus aroma also combines well with sweet dishes, for example chocolate desserts, fruits and jams.
