Malabar pepper is a variety of black pepper that originates from Kerala, a state on India’s tropical Malabar Coast.  Noted for its complex spicy fragrance with a hint of cedar, Malabar pepper is versatile and goes especially well with beef,  either whole in marinades or crushed or ground as a seasoning.
