Provencal Herbs (Herbes De Provence)
Origin: Blended in Brittany, France (10g)
This mix of aromatic herbs – Rosemary, Thyme, Basil and Oregano – makes a great combination to give a Mediterranean flavour to any dish. Linked to southern cuisine, this is a ‘must have’ addition to stuffed tomatoes, ratatouille, goats cheese marinated in olive oil and pizza with tomatoes and anchovies. Herbes de Provence can be rubbed onto pork ribs, lamb, veal, sausages, tuna steaks and monkfish skewers before cooking them on a barbecue or mix with some olive oil, sweet pepper, mustard seeds and turmeric to make a paste to coat grilled meats.
