Cumin Seeds

Syria is known for its production of Cumin.  The threshing of the Cumin seeds take place from June and August to give it a very rich, aromatic bouquet with almost a toasted hint.   The seeds work well with couscous, tagines, chilli  con carne, tomato sauces and minced meat stuffing.
